Wolfram Ungermann Sytemkälte Gmbh& Co KG (USK) is a privately founded and owned company specialized in bakery refrigeration. It has been founded 1994 by the former managing director of Erwin Ungermann GmbH, Mr Wolfram Ungermann. By that time, Mr Ungermann had approximately 30 years of experience in the German and international bakery business.
In 2002 USK joined the SLOW BAKING association. SLOW BAKING is a group of bakers who try to compete with cheap industry breads by offering their costumers products of outstanding quality and taste. This quality level can only be reached by very work, time and knowledge intensive production methods. For craft bakery quality is the main argument to differentiate since the price competition cannot be won on the German market.
